Salma has worked extensively within the political strategic sphere both as a Special Adviser in UK Parliament, and as effective CEO for a strategy consultancy established by a former Foreign Office chief.
She represents parliamentarians, governments, companies, sovereign wealth funds and high net worth individuals across the world.
She has also founded Anaraa Law www.anaraa-law.com and is a practising barrister at the Bar of England and Wales with particular expertise in commercial and constitutional matters.
As a barrister, she has worked both at the Independent Bar and as an in-house barrister to a Silver Circle law firm in its Banking and Finance, Private Client and wider Commercial Litigation departments.
She was the first female Chair of UK Parliament's gender equalities network. In addition, she has won the House of Commons Speaker's Award for Embedding Diversity and Inclusion in UK Parliament, particularly for her work in establishing UK Parliament's first welfare helpline for staff.
